My husband is working is an army officer. We have been married for 14 years. We have a 10 yr old daughter. due to our fights, i finally applied for grant of maintenance allowance from army. They say it will take almost 1 year for it to start. I have really given up. So asked husband if we can settle out of court and separate. He has agreed to give 5 lakh initially, and 60 lakh after 6 months.\nI wanted to ask whether this amount is ok for me, or should I ask more? His elder brother is in army, elder brother's wife is receiving pension, father is receiving pension. His mother has passed away. So he has no other to take care of except me and my daughter.
Answer
On the first test of hearing he is necessarily required to be present in the court along with his lawyer.
